Does race have an affect on the ual appeal of a male?

i am 17 turning 18, have a slightly short but athletic build. the main problem is that i think chicks are turned off by the fact that i have a sort of "curry guy" appearance. i don't got the accent, i have pretty much only spent 1 year of my whole life (in total) in my country of origin so basically there is nothing curry about me besides my look. i have tried changing my hairstyle and kept myself as hygienic and fashionable as possible but i cant help but think that chicks are turned off by the fact i have the curry appearance. any help guys?
