How do I read a new relationship and let myself enjoy it?

I have recently, like within the past 25 days, began dating a man that I have known lightly for over a year. He is 5 months out of an engagement and it has been close to three years since I have had a real relationship. I want to be able to be able to open up enough for him to know I'd like to continue to see where this is going. Honestly I'm prayin he's it, of course I would never freak him out with all that, but a little affirmation from my side would be nice. I tend to be too guarded and can come across cold. How can I let my guard down, I didn't mean to put it up.What are some signs that he is taking this seriously? How do I know if he wants more?Help!? Please, it's been so long since I've been in a comfort zone with a man, I don't know how to do it again.
